This is a post-process shader I built to emulate a hand-drawn style in Unreal Engine 5. The main focus was on capturing the imperfections that make real sketches feel alive: twisted, shaky lines, little hairy strokes, and even some cross-hatching for shading. Out of all my experiments, this is probably the best-looking one — the result genuinely feels like something drawn by hand instead of rendered by a GPU. It’s rough, imperfect, and that’s exactly what makes it believable.
