This was my own attempt to replicate the look and feel of Moebius, one of my favorite comic artists. I really admire his style, so I had a lot of fun pushing myself to see how close I could get in Unreal. It’s not a custom shading model — instead, it’s a pretty complex screen pass shader that I registered through a custom view extension in UE. That means it runs as a post-process, affecting the whole frame. Even though it started as an experiment, the setup is solid enough that it could be packaged as a fully functional plugin. It captures that clean, surreal comic-book vibe, and for me it was as much an art challenge as a technical one.
